The role advertised is primarily frontline support.

We have a mix of Windows XP, Ubuntu and Apple desktops with the key infrastructure all running on Debian.  The ability to troubleshoot is important, as is the drive to continue developing your own technical knowledge and abilities going forward.

Knowing all the following technologies is not a requirement (that's my job), but some of the primary elements of our infrastructure include:

  • Open LDAP
  • Samba
  • Gosa
  • Bind/dhcpd/CUPS
  • Joomla
  • Squid
  • RT
