"The conference has a strong international focus and takes a holistic approach bringing together speakers and delegates from government, academe, industry and open source communities. High profile speakers from North America and the EU will be giving presentations and running hands-on workshops within the conference schedule.

Professor William Cartwright (President of the International Cartographic Association) will deliver the inaugural presentation.

Tyler Mitchell, the Executive Director of the Open Source Geospatial Foundation, will deliver the keynote presentation.

A plenary presentation on Open Source Observatory and Repository (OSOR) will be delivered by Mr Szabolcs Szekacs (European Commission, Informatics Directorate-General, IDABC)."
