His current work as part of the ‘Future Schools’ group includes work around learning technologies (including blogs, wikis, learning platforms, digital video, podcasting, webquests, computer games, augmented reality and student-owned devices), learning platforms, the use of learning spaces and student digital leaders.

Cheaper and better - a marriage made in heaven

This session will feature a range of school examples showing how they are saving money and also providing a better experience for students using freely available tools. As well as examples, the hopes and fears of schools around the country will be shared to allow attendees to better plan how they can strategically introduce the tools alongside building teacher confidence.
