Sourceforge

While some OSS projects have their own websites (like Moodle and OpenOffice), many store their software in the Sourceforge repository. This is the first place to look, if you’re wanting to download some OSS, or you want to find information about the development community or support. Note that Sourceforge  is mainly aimed at developers – if you are looking for information about a commonly used piece of OSS, it is likely that it will have its own website and support community separate from the developer group on Sourceforge.
