Ex-Sun operating system/kernel engineer, UNIX zealot (although I recognise that Windows has its place and is a fact of life), and never happier than when ploughing through a nice crash dump or packet capture...
Made the move into teaching 18 months ago (why?), and generally love it. Am now starting to change the direction of the IT at school, Moodle, Elgg deployed, lots of focus on Web 2.0 rather than Office apps...
