- I run a Community Interest Company, M6-IT CIC, which specialises in providing Free Software solutions to the education, community and voluntary sectors. I write for the Free Software Magazine, and have a blog and personal website. While Head of Computing at Handsworth Grammar School I moved the department to an open source solution - deploying LTSP (http://www.ltsp.org). For more details visit their wiki at http://www.openhgs.org.uk. They are currently runnning around 160 LTSP teminals as well as Open Office on MS Windows desktops, along with GIMP and Mozilla. The majority of the server functions run on GNU/Linux. They are also installing a new system for a partner primary school. I have been involved in Schoolforge.org.uk since its inception and am currently Chair. I can be reached at .
