Just a bit of small news.. Wilsden Primary School (Winners of the Hand held learning 2008 award) have okay'd me doing an open source project to create a web presence to enable pupils, teachers and parents to access what they want from the school.
The process is being outlined but it should be a great opportunity for me to bash out a load of open source stuff as Wilsden has been an ICT flagship for many years and always committed to ICT.
I will be updating my blog and other locations w/ the findings and decision making process, trying to keep the entire system as open as possible from beginning to end will be one of my major focuses.

I run www.freesoftwareforstudents.org.uk. it was developed from a CD that i give to students in a number of schools. If you want I can send you a disc which you can use as you wish if it will help.

We're in 2009! Any chance you can upload an image file ie .bin file to a server for me to download?
Each time you burn a CD you turn a dog deaf and a kitten blind. Especially if Royal Mail handle it...
