We are planning a meeting in collaboration with the LO/OOo communities to establish an official OpenOffice.org qualification. This will be based on the ITQ, the NVQ in IT and this should also provide league table points equivalent to a grade B GCSE. The meeting will be in Berlin on the 28th January. The National Agency for the EU Lifelong learning program will give grants for preparatory meetings of up to 1000 Euros for attendance by schools. One of the objectives of the meeting will be to apply for an EU grant or grants to support assessor training etc across Europe. More details from the link below and/or e-mail me if interested.
