I came accross a great site called opensource.com, which I think has been listed on here before. It has several categories incuding Business, Education and Government. I was drawn to one particular article in the education section which can be accessed via this link.

Any IT project can get complicated if we think about it too much 🙂 it is often better to start small and grow the project. So the next time you need some new software why not see if they is open source equivalent. Our first classroom facing application was Audacity, which provided our music department with some software that was better than commercial alternatives. The use of audacity also helped towards winning them an award as they were able to share good practise and the software with other schools.

Maybe this site would be a good one for the feed reader on front page?
